Age Groups
Tiny Tigers Taekwondo
Children 3 - 6 This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect and discipline. In addition the program is designed to improve motor skills and enhance the ability to follow directions.
Karate for Kids
The ATA created this often-imitated curriculum geared specifically to the learning pace and attention spans of children aged 6 - 12. The path to Black belt and beyond is laid out in a manageable number of incremental goals with increased memorization and proper technique.
Teen & Adult Taekwondo
Teens and adults are self-motivated and the teaching style suits this. Students obtain a good work out and stretching before memorizing new material and working on technique in groups.
Training Programs
Basic Taekwondo
A traditional training program covering the beginner ranks. Basic program students attend an average of two classes a week. This program allows the student to attend basic forms classes for their age group.
Leadership Program
This program includes attendance to the appropriate forms class (beginner or advanced) and receive training on advanced techniques, weapons training, board breaking, point sparring, ATA-Xtreme martial arts, and advanced life skills. Leadership students also have access to other special training. Students must have instructor permission to join the leadership program.
Instructor Trainee Program
This program requires that a student be in the Leadership Program. Students must commit to the additional training, some of which may involve travel to Regional Certification and Leadership camps.
